“Save Target As” in Firefox
People accustomed to using the Internet Explorer web browser may find that one of their favorite features seems to be missing in Firefox: “Save Target As.”
While browsing, if you come across a web link to a file such as a Word document, PDF or executable, in Internet Explorer you can download the file to disk without having to open it in your browser. To do this, you right-click on the link, then select “Save Target As” from the popup menu. But that function seems to be missing in Firefox.
